Magnetic resonance imaging has established itself as an ideal examination to rule out tumor pathology, as well as to control the state of breast prostheses.

It is a non-invasive technique, without the use of ionizing radiation, which is performed with the patient in prone position to ensure complete symmetry of the breasts. The approximate duration is 30-40 minutes.

For the study of breasts for suspected neoplasia it is necessary to administer contrast, which together with the rapid acquisition sequences in 3D allows us to make a dynamic and accurate study of the breast tissue.

It is advisable that the patient comes to the center for the test on an empty stomach.
